Words of gratitude
What they said

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone at Emajjin Children's Foundation for your incredible support over the past year and for choosing Easter Seals as one of your charities of choice. Your $50,000 gift has made a truly meaningful impact on the children and families we support. Because of your generosity, we are able to provide critical programs and equipment that help children with physical disabilities gain independence, confidence, and opportunity. We are so grateful for your belief in our mission and the trust you have placed in our organization.

About the charity
Easter Seals Ontario

For over 100 years, Easter Seals Ontario has been a leading provider of programs and services for young people with physical disabilities in Ontario. Their conviction is simple but powerful: disabled will never mean unable.

Easter Seals supports children, youth, and young adults with a wide range of long-term physical disabilities including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy, Rett syndrome, and spinal cord injuries. Despite these challenges, the young people they support are vibrant, resourceful, and full of potential — each with their own aspirations and ambitions.

For Emajjin, Easter Seals embodies everything we look for — a century of community service, fiscal responsibility, and an unwavering focus on giving children with disabilities the tools they need to build confidence, foster independence, and pursue their dreams.

Programs and services:
Equipment funding — up to $3,000/year for wheelchairs, walkers, ramps, and lifts
Accessible summer camps providing barrier-free social and recreational experiences
Ambassador Program developing leadership and advocacy skills in youth with disabilities
Scholarships for students with physical disabilities pursuing post-secondary education
Awareness, public education, and government advocacy initiatives across Ontario
